“I was on a business trip to New York City with family, not my business, but my father’s. I come from a ‘well-to-do’ family, and you can tell by just looking. We ordered our Starbucks, and at the register I ask to use the bathroom, the employee smiles and says “of course” and starts to lead me to the bathroom. The man behind our family asked to use the bathroom as well, but the same woman, who just told me seconds earlier I could use the bathroom, states “the bathroom is for employees only.”


Being younger at the time I didn’t think anything of it, and nobody spoke up. Nobody said anything. Until I found your Instagram page, I never knew this was an issue and that I witnessed it and didn’t do anything.”
