Theodora, who goes by Teddy, is a Soprano, Social Media Creator, and Activist based in NYC.
Teddy is the creator of @got2gonyc- a TikTok and Instagram account dedicated to sharing public, sanitary, and accessible NYC bathrooms. She concurrently advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion through documenting hardships faced by fellow New Yorkers & tourists due to the lack of NYC bathrooms. Her social media activism has most recently been featured in The New York Times, CNN, Teen Vogue, Bloomberg, The New York Post, TimeOut and more. Her TV and Radio features include WNYC, 1010WINS, Howard 101's A Hard Look, ABC7NY, NY1, Pix11, and TAFF on ProSiebenSat1 in Germany.
She is also a freelance writer whose work has been published in The New York Times and Gothamist.
Her performance credits include opera, concert works, and musical theater. She is currently earning her Master’s of Music at Mannes School of Music and completed her Bachelor of Music from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Learn more about Teddy's performance endeavors here.
Teddy is a member of ClearPath NYC's Board of Directors- a nonprofit organization advocating and providing resources for homeless youth in NYC. This past June, she gave a speech at a press conference on the steps of New York City Hall with Councilwoman Rita Joseph and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine in support of Intro 258 ("The Bathroom Bill"). The Bill passed by a landslide this past October.
